Action
Through exploration and iteration I decided on a limited color palette to enhance narrative flow. For the format, I focused on hierarchy of typography and a strict layout to enhance clarity and readability.

Next Steps
The next step for this project would be a directed photoshoot set at a ski resort.

Ideas:
  • Skier looking at the Equipment page while getting ready.
  • Viewing the Execution page while doing the ironic beginner “pizza” pose.
  • Seeing the Vertical Drop page in the hands of someone on a lift with the slopes length emphasized in the background.
  • Someone skiing and holding it extended behind them, letting it move in the wind.

Highest interest: I picture a skier sitting on a ski lift holding the book over the edge extended down to emphasize the length of the book and the quality of its form.

Here was my attempt to create this visualization with AI... pretty much just AI slop but it shows some of the form (until it loses the plot).
